MajGen Joe Shrader, USMC (Ret)

Joe Shrader is a retired Marine Corps Major General with over 38 years of experience in defense systems acquisition, logistics, and strategic business planning. As the only Marine general officer to lead both the Marine Corps Systems Command and Logistics Command, he has a unique background in Total Life Cycle Management and Force Sustainment. Joe’s career highlights include overseeing multi-billion dollar projects and managing logistics and supply chain systems on a global scale.

Currently, he serves as the Senior Strategic Business and Program Management Advisor for CACI International, where he provides expert guidance on Navy and Marine Corps operational warfighting requirements. Prior to this, Joe was the Commanding General of the Marine Corps Logistics Command and Commander of the Marine Corps Systems Command, among other significant positions.

He holds multiple advanced certifications, including DAWIA Program Management Level III, and has an active Top Secret security clearance. Joe earned a Master of Science in National Resourcing Strategy from the National Defense University and a Master of Science in Military Studies from the U.S. Marine Corps University. He also holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering Technology from Bluefield State University.
