Wounded Warrior art exhibit to open in Wilmington Aug. 5

WILMINGTON, NC (WECT) –
An exhibit featuring artwork from the Wounded Warriors out of Camp Lejeune will be on display in Wilmington starting Friday, Aug. 5.

The exhibit will be held at the Hannah Block Historic USO/Community Arts Center, located at 120 South Second Street, from Aug. 5 until Aug. 21.

Admission is free and the public is invited to tour the exhibit.

Much of the art on display will be available for purchase via silent auction. The proceeds will be shared by the artists and the Museum of the Marine.

A reception previewing the art exhibit will be held Thursday, Aug. 4 from 5:30 p.m. until 7:30 p.m. at the Hanna Block Historic USO.
