We are building a 40,000 square foot enduring tribute to the honor, courage and commitment of Marines and Sailors who, through their service to our nation, exemplify civic commitment in action. 

Museum Facilities & Amenities

Our Musuem’s 40,000 square-foot facility will include four main galleries, Including:

  • The Great Hall
  • Orientation Theater
  • Museum Galleries
  • Changing Gallery
  • Theater
  • Classrooms

The Museum amenities will include bookstore/gift shop and café.

Exhibitions

Our Exhibitions will highlight the many accomplishments and innovations of Carolina Marines and Sailors and the enduring contributions of their host communities since WWII including:

  • Expeditionary Warfare and Amphibious Operations
  • Carolina Marine Air Ground Task Force and Development of Maneuver Warfare Philosophy
  • MARSOC
  • MV-22 Osprey
  • Montford Point Marines
  • Women Marines
  • War Dogs | Military Working Dogs
  • Wounded Warrior Barracks

Tickets, Tours, Reservations

We offer individual and group tours, as well as customized tours for college students, active-duty Marines, Sailors, and veterans. We recommend reservations for tours be made 30 days ahead of your visit.  Please use our secure reservation system.

General Museum Admission includes entry to the Museum Great Hall, Galleries, and memory Zone.
Special discount are available for school students, seniors, and active Marines.

Venue Rentals

We are pleased to announce Carolina Museum of the Marine’s extraordinary facilities are available for rentals.

  • Lobby and Great Hall is an ideal space for military ceremonial events, such as reenlistment, promotions, and etc.
  • Museum Theatre can be used as a perfect space for presentation, conferences, corporate training
  • Our spacious classrooms can be used for seminars, workshops,
    school retreats and community training.

Visit Carolina Museum of the Marine Resource Center

Our Resource Center is designed to introduce the most significant events in the history of the Marine, including unique and rare collection of articles named “Historian’s Corner”. The “Memory Zone” resources we are planning to publish in the nearest future will be dedicated to the heroic deeds of the Marines in the Wars and conflicts.
