James Danielson, PhD: Short Biography

Marine Corps veteran James Danielson, PhD, earned his doctorate in ethics from the University of Virginia. He has taught biomedical ethics, the history of moral philosophy, and ethics in the professions for more than thirty years. In addition to teaching university students, Dr. Danielson has taught and developed curriculum for high risk populations in juvenile residential treatment settings.

Dr. Danielson publishes in scholarly and semi-scholarly journals in the areas of ethics and education. His curriculum development work continues to focus on ethics, the skills of thinking and debate, American history, philosophy, free market economics, and American government. He writes, develops curriculum, and teaches for the Al Gray Marine Leadership Forum.
